Dr. Clara W. Truesdell was born and raised in Starkville, Mississippi. She earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine, and completed her residency and fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. She is board certified in nephrology and a proud member of the American Society of Nephrologists.
Dr. Truesdell has been in practice for over 28 years and is the President and founder of Hypertension and Kidney Consultants of Georgia. In addition to being an accomplished clinician, she serves as a Medical Director of Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC), Stone Mountain Dialysis Center, and Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC) N. Gwinnett Dialysis Center. To commend her service to the greater Atlanta Area, Castle Connolly has recognized Dr. Truesdell as an Atlanta Top Doctor for the past five years.
Dr. Truesdell is a proud wife and mother of two “emerging adults”. When she is not in the office, she enjoys quiet time at home, spending time with her friends and family, and the pursuit of fitness.
Dr. Malorie B. Holmes is a native of Prairieville, Louisiana. She earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University where she was a collegiate cheerleader for the Green Wave. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College and completed her residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Following residency, she completed her Nephrology fellowship at Stanford University and is excited to join Dr. Truesdell in serving the greater Atlanta area. Her areas of interest include Lupus Nephritis, Stone Disease, and women’s health. She is a faculty member of Nephrology Business Leadership University and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Holmes enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and playing guitar in her free time.
